Queen Saenz + Schutz (QS+S) is a corporate law boutique located in downtown Austin, Texas, with a high-caliber, dynamic transactional practice serving clients in each phase of the business life cycle.
QS+S has immediate opportunities available for attorneys with 1-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate representation. In this role, you will provide day-to-day counsel to companies ranging from true startups to late-stage, private equity-backed businesses, and work closely with clients in connection with debt and equity financings, M&A and other strategic transactions. In addition, you will represent private equity investors in M&A transactions, financings and other portfolio company matters. Ideal candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm; have strong personal skills and the ability to be client-facing; exhibit good judgment; have excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; experience with complex transactions and the day-to-day demands and work flow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs; have an entrepreneurial spirit and a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school; and have strong written skills.
