Three former Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody PC partners have formed an Austin boutique focused on corporate and business law and commercial transactions with an emphasis on the tech sector, the attorneys announced Tuesday.
Thomas Queen, Paul Saenz and Andrea Schutz launched the boutique Queen Saenz & Schutz PLLC to narrowly focus on corporate law and related transactions, which they say will allow them to better serve their clients, Schutz told Law360. Their complementary practice areas provide well-rounded business law guidance to clients from the youngest startups to mature companies, and to the investment firms that support them, she said.
“Austin is a very entrepreneurial town,” Schutz said. “We work with a lot of entrepreneurs and first-generation investment firms. At some point we caught the entrepreneurial bug and wanted to break out on our own.”
