Queen Saenz + Schutz PLLC represented Houston-based US Med-Equip, LLC (USME), a portfolio company of Owner Resource Group, LLC (ORG), in its recent sale to Freeman Spogli & Co. (Freeman Spogli). Transaction terms were not disclosed.
USME is a leading distributor and provider of moveable medical equipment rentals with more than 40 locations across 23 states, serving over 1,600 hospital customers with more than 60,000 units in its equipment fleet. USME’s founders, Gurmit Bhatia and Greg Salario, will continue to lead the company with ORG retaining an ownership stake as part of the transaction.
QS+S represented ORG in its acquisition of USME in November 2017 and, during ORG’s hold period, advised USME on multiple tuck-in acquisitions.
