Queen Saenz + Schutz PLLC represented Austin-based Cobra Legal Solutions LLC (Cobra), a portfolio company of Blue Sage Capital, in its recent acquisition of Digital Discovery, LLC (Digital Discovery). The transaction closed on July 30, 2021. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas with an additional office in Chennai, India, Cobra is a leading provider of legal support services including eDiscovery, due diligence, document review, contract management and legal research. The acquisition of Digital Discovery expands Cobra’s product offering to add upstream evidence collection, forensic investigations and cyber-incident response capabilities.
As part of the firm’s role in the transaction, QS+S also advised on an amended credit facility with Comerica Bank to support Cobra’s growth.
QS+S represented Blue Sage in its initial investment in Cobra in April 2021.
